Funding Options

We work with multiple funding schemes to make speech pathology services accessible to families. Here's what you need to know about your funding options.

Medicare

What is Medicare? Medicare is Australia's universal health insurance scheme that provides rebates for eligible allied health services, including speech pathology.

Who Can Claim? Australian residents with a valid Medicare card can access speech pathology services under Medicare. Your GP will refer you on a Medicare-funded care plan.

Eligibility

Talk to your GP to see if you are eligible for the following Medicare items: 10970, 82005, 82020.

Rebate Amounts Medicare rebates vary based on the type and complexity of the service. We're happy to discuss your expected costs when you book.

NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme)

What is NDIS? The NDIS is Australia's scheme supporting people with permanent and significant disabilities. Speech pathology is a common support area under NDIS plans.

Who Can Access NDIS? People aged 0-65 with permanent and significant disabilities may be eligible. Your child's eligibility is determined by the NDIS based on their condition and functional impact.
